Channeling Nico 60's trends in Spring/Summer '12

60's fashion is back and who better to represent the era in fashion than Nico. I love her so much I may or may not have dressed in all black, blonde whig and carried a tambourine around on Halloween (yeah i know). Her simplistic dark chic style consisting of all black or white and basic makeup made her look timeless.  Her long lustrous lashes and thick black liner forced you to look into the windows of her dark soul.

Courtney Love Fashion "KinderWhore"

I have to admit ever since I saw Courtney Love stumbling out of a party during NYFW last fall I've peeped her blog from time to time.  I've always loved and identified with Courtney's style "kinderwhore", which she was known for popularizing in the 90's. My fashion is so often reflected by music/musicians because of course they are so intertwined.  I have to say, Courtney Love, you are the most fashionable train wreck I've ever seen and I thank you for that.  Below are a couple of my favorite looks/pic's I took from her blog.

Arcadia Vintage Layering and Stacking Jewelry

Have you ever seen those girls walking down the street with way too much jewelry on? You know the ones who over did it at H&M and F21 then decided to stack everything on at once? There are definitely rules to layering and stacking jewelry.  1st ALWAYS throw in a statement piece, whether it's your fav Hermes bracelet or fabulous Spinelli Kilcollin necklace. 2nd DON'T over do it!
